JBoss ออก JBossWS 1.0.0 ซึ่งเป็นตัว implement J2EE web services ,สนับสนุน SOAP และทำงานร่วมกับ JBoss architecture
JBossWS มี feature สำคัญตาม spec ของ J2EE-1.4 คือ:
